NATIONAL LOGISTICS & DISTRIBUTION MANAGER

Responsibilities:

• To manage and be responsible for all aspects of Logistics and Distribution nationally, including rate negotiations, deadlines, payment of duties and fees, import/export regulations, environment pressures and Custom’s compliance. Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of supply chain processes.

• Tertiary qualifications in a business discipline and/or
• Logistics & Distribution qualifications
• Minimum of 5-10 years practical automotive Logistics and Distribution management experience
• Excellent management and organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent skills with the Microsoft Office suite of applications & Reynolds & Reynolds
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• A practical, logical and systematic approach
• Close attention to detail and the ability to note inconsistencies
• Excellent analytical skills
• Financial acumen
• A driven self-starter that leads an effective team
• Proven record of experience and success in a senior management role
• Commitment to staff training and development
